I could so see that "Islamic Sacred State" happening.
first of all, i am not arab, and i dont have anything near to extensive knowledge of middle eastern geography/border conflicts, etc...
the idea of an islamic sacred state, a divided iraq according to sunni-shia, and a recognised israel, to me, would be such such such a step in easing down religous tension...but i never see this happening in reality.
too sad how we can do NOTHING about it!
Listen punk, I'm not making international calls every night I call Jeddah and I don't want people I love stamping their passports when they come visit me on weekends so if this happens, I just hope it isn't in my lifetime or my kids' even GOD.

promoted tolerance and raise awareness? sure its not impossible. but who's making the first step? correct me if im wrong, but not the governments, not the media, not the majority of the people...it would take years, more time that it wud take to just divide the borders.
if tolerance and acceptance could be spread, then hey, i'm all for it. but when? and how? the middle east is not exactly the easiest place to implement change in people's mentalities...
anyways, i dont think people could make border changes without fucking up. theory is always better than the result in practice. ur going to have religious tension whether ur in the same country or not...but maybe, being in different countries would mean that less violence results from it
against.. why?
well everywhere is getting united, like the EU, USA, UK..
so the more we divide the more our polices be hard to understand, the deeper our economy will drop, the more dirty society becomes, the more fights we will have, you took my land, i hate you and he took your land you hate him and i took his land, so he hates me, plus new countries will come out of no where which will ultimately work hard to be recognized, and with rule fist not angel smiles they will..
so basically, we as people with no power just rumble and those with power really sit put for a better cause,, but what is it?
